Why are we here

Us both at, obviously, the sparkling Eiffel Tower in Paris, one summer night in 2012.

I seek to be a world traveller and I’m constantly intrigued by what the world out there has in store for those who ventured out and embraced it. My interest in travelling did not actually begin until my trip to the city of Melbourne in Australia in 2009 as my family didn’t actually travel very much when I was younger. Since then, I have always been looking to plot my next travel destination. With our love for travelling and writing, The Fancy Voyager is dedicated to sharing our experiences in our travels through our stories and photos, and to connect with anyone out there in the world who has a passion and interest in travelling.

The journey of travel is more than taking flight, more than the accumulation of miles, & so much more than the excitement of being in queue to famous places of interest.  It is the experience of the differences in cultures, the identification of goodness in humanity, the jaw-dropping breathtaking views of the galaxies & the fascination of standing under the same sky in different continents that really makes the travel ( or at least mine ).  I was lucky, I turned 18, I got a job, I saved up, I bought my first air ticket.  Australia, year 2008, was my first travel destination ( ever since it being a dream destination of mine since I was 15, with a crazy obsession in ocean surfing though never done it before & was not even sporty at all back when I was a teen, though now tennis is a weekly affair ).  Traveling is the highest form of enjoyment that I've ever gone through & I just do it time & time again, only if my bank account allows me to. Sometimes, some things, if you don't give it a shot, you'll never know.
